To answer your first question, yep. We chose Toaster because we think Vanagon campervans look like toasters. Sometimes they move as slow as toasters too. Founded in 2024 by Jesse Schinkel, Toaster Supply Co. is a testament to generations of knowledge and expertise in Volkswagen classic vehicles.

Many will always know us as Tony’s Auto Service, a little shop that opened back in 1964 under Tony Rofel. Over time, it grew and in the early 80s it was passed on to Paul Schinkel. It’s been family-run since. We aim to continue this part of the journey with a renewed focus on Vanagons and vintage Volkswagen vehicles.
